Stanford

Tuesday, May 31st, 2005

As I already mentioned before I’ll be going to San Francisco next week.
To get treatment according to the “Stanford Protocol”.
So it’s time to check my status to see how much improvement the trip brings.

After my last visit to scotland in the second week of may I felt pretty good.
I went to a four day open air festival (sleeping in a tent, in the cold, with rain all weekend) and survived with only one very minor (2 minute) flare up.

Since then I had a pretty good time.
I had a small flare up last week.
And a bigger one this week … the last few days weren’t so good.
But overall I feel pretty fine :)

I haven’t been doing my relaxation exercises lately nor my stretches.
I’ve been pushing my diet to the limits and it’s still OK.

I hope that after my trip I’ll be 100% OK again.

Old Testament - Malachi 2:3

Tuesday, May 31st, 2005

“Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.”

I guess I won’t have to comment on that.

EQOA

Thursday, May 19th, 2005

I bought myself Everquest Online Adventures for my PStwo as a birthday present.

90 minutes ago I put it in and tried to logon.
Everything went (fairly) smooth up to the point where I tried to enter my account key.
Bang.

“Invalid Key”.
So I contacted customer support.
The first guy kicked me out after about 25 minutes, telling me to “fax a copy of the receipt”.

So I phoned them … only to be told that “this number is for hardware support only”.
So why do they print it in the software manual ?

Right now I’m in chat with another CSR.
These guys are so slow…

Nokia Sensor

Wednesday, May 11th, 2005

Just found a new toy:
Nokia Sensor

I don’t expect to stumble upon too many other users in the near future,
but I’ll leave it running.

I hope it won’t drain my batteries too much ;)

Bog Spam

Tuesday, May 10th, 2005

Seems like some people still have lots of comment/trackback spam:
MT Spam.

I’m glad that I didn’t see any spam since the upgrade to Wordpress 1.5

Wordpress 1.5.1

Tuesday, May 10th, 2005

The guys are simply to fast for me:
Wordpress 1.5.1

The security update and the improved SQL queries alone should make this upgrade worth the effort.
I hope the upgrade is quicker than the last one.
I have to upgrade over a dozen blogs…

Scotland - Treatment 7

Tuesday, May 10th, 2005

Just had my seventh treatment.
It’s my fourth trip to scotland.

My therpist and I agree, that my symptoms improved by around 80%.
With another treatment coming up this thursday,
I’m afraid that there will be nothing to fix for the Stanford guys in june ;)

hommingberger gepardenforelle

Monday, May 2nd, 2005

Crazy people do crazy stuff.

A big german magazine started a SEO contest a while ago.
Target is to get the page scoring best on “hommingberger gepardenforelle”.
Much like the old “nigritude ultramarine”.

I don’t care, but I will keep an eye on it now and then.
